SONGS IN THE NIGHT

Oftentimes, communities long to walk with widows but don’t exactly know how. Safe, familiar places can be triggering and hard after loss. That is where Songs in the Night steps in. One of the sole communities for widows, Songs in the Night offers a safe place in a dark time to genuinely wrestle with big questions in the covering of community. All the while equipping local churches to do the same.

We were commissioned to create the sense of a strong community with a gentle touch that holds space for both joy and sorrow during a widow’s journey. The brand identity does just that - wielding a spectrum of hues, ranging from deep brown to dusky blues that craft a captivating visual representation of the stillness and comfort in the night.

Songs In The Night aesthetic gracefully aims to convey the harmony and attention to detail present within the brand mark.

Various paper colors, embossed textures, and copper foil create diverse yet subtle elements to balance the nature of different moments in the night.

UNIQUE PRINT PIECES

Paper choices nod to elemental experiences found during the heart of the night—sunset, twilight, and dusk. Inspired by the orange sunsets that take place before twilight, a custom copper foil was created to elevate unique print pieces.
